Our Studio Polices

Tuition
Tuition is due by the 5th of the month.

Lessons may be paid for monthly or students may take advantage of a package of 8 lessons and receive their 9th lesson free .
Lesson Times
Students must commit to a consistent weekly lesson time.

Consider your weekly schedule and travel time when selecting a lesson slot.

Occasional reschedules are okay, but frequent changes are not allowed.

Choose a time you can commit to and maintain consistently.


Expectations
Students are expected to practice regularly between lessons.

Beginner to intermediate students: ~15–30 minutes daily

Advanced students: ~1 hour daily
Consistent practice is essential for steady progress and musical growth.
Attendance

Your monthly or semester payment reserves your lesson time.

Missed classes are non-refundable.

24 hours notice is required to reschedule a lesson.

With proper notice, a make-up lesson will be scheduled.

No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in forfeited lessons.


Recitals

All school-age students are expected to participate in studio recitals throughout the year.

Recitals offer valuable performance experience, confidence building, and a chance to celebrate progress.

Teacher Absences
If the teacher is unavailable due to illness or emergency:

A make-up lesson will be scheduled.

If no time can be found, a lesson credit will be applied to the next tuition period.
Holidays

No lessons will take place on major holidays.

Students receive a calendar with all scheduled lesson dates and holiday breaks in advance.


Weather Cancellations

If weather makes travel unsafe, students may opt for a virtual lesson at their usual time.

In-person makeups for weather-related cancellations are generally not available due to scheduling limitations.
