Who Are Adult Piano Lessons For?

Adult piano lessons are designed to meet you exactly where you are in your musical journey. We work with:

  • Adult beginners who have never played piano before and want to explore music for the first time.

  • Adults returning to piano after many years, ready to reconnect with the instrument they once loved.

  • Experienced adult players who are actively practicing and looking for a new teacher to grow further or refine their skills.

No matter your background or goals, it's never too late to start—or start again.

Flexible Lesson Scheduling for Busy Adults

We understand that adults have full schedules, so our lessons are designed to be as flexible as you need them to be. Choose from:

  • Weekly, biweekly, or monthly lessons

  • In-person, virtual, or hybrid options

  • Flex Lesson Packs: Buy a pack of 4, 8, or 10 lessons and schedule them at your convenience, no fixed weekly time required

This structure lets you take control of your learning pace, while still receiving consistent, high-quality instruction.

What Adult Students Can Expect

Learning piano as an adult is a deeply rewarding experience. You may have a specific goal—like learning a favorite piece, improving your reading and technique, or simply enjoying the creative outlet music provides.

With adult lessons, you set the pace and the goals. Lessons are tailored to your interests, whether that’s classical, pop, improvisation, or a mix of styles. We focus on progress without pressure, in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Performance is Optional but Encouraged!

Recitals are a fun opportunity to share your progress but for adult students, they’re completely optional. Some adults love the chance to perform, while others prefer to keep things personal and private. Either choice is respected.

If you do choose to participate, you’ll be warmly welcomed and supported, whether it's your first recital ever or your first in decades!
